First Thursday offers a look at the art side of Boise with galleries open, great chefs preparing great treats and meals, and a great look at what is going on in our wonderful city.
This First Thursday, be sure to stop by The Gallery at the Linen Building to see a new art exhibition entitled “Inter/Change”. Also at the Linen Building on First Thursday, enjoy performances by the Idaho Shakespeare Company put on as part of their annual fundraiser. The benefit will feature special Idaho Shakespeare performances, auction, appetizers and no-host bar. All proceeds will benefit the Idaho Shakespeare Festival’s School of Theater. The company provides theater arts programming integrated into the curricula of approximately 73 percent of the school districts in Idaho, as well as parts of Oregon, Wyoming and Nevada. Through its school tours, Shakespearience and Idaho Theater for Youth, the Festival annually reaches approximately 50,000 school-age children, including those in rural and under-served communities.
